The Task

Forde is a $500 million masterplanned community in Canberra. The ACT housing market is extremely competitive and some negativity towards development exists due to conservation concerns.

OBM's task was to generate interest before any amenity was on the ground and to showcase Forde's sensitivity to the environment.  

The Solution

Using an integrated campaign with press, brochures, billboards, online, TV and a 'Discovery Pack', OBM encouraged consumers to 'Discover Forde'.

Throughout the project's development phase OBM also used a series of mailers to showcase various projects and events, while maintaining the main Forde brand. The mailers used a variety of themes and styles.

The Results

Sales exceeded forecast by 230%, with consumers even camping overnight to get first choice of land.
